Why specialty matters to your clients
Your anesthesia clients chose you because you understand time units, modifiers and how their group is staffed. If you sell to a general billing company, they may end up with someone learning anesthesia on their claims. That's often when clients leave, and if part of your price depends on them staying, it costs you too.
What your clients will ask
- Will the same people still work on our account?
- Will our fees change?
- Will our payments still go straight into our account?
- Who do we call when something's wrong?
Have good answers to those before you tell anyone.
How we approach it
We only do anesthesia, so your clients stay with specialists. We'd rather keep you involved during the handover, and if you want to keep working, there's a place for you as a billing lead with an ownership stake. We'll put it all in writing before your clients hear a word.
See our three options on selling your billing practice, or email partners@titraterevenue.com for a confidential chat.
This is general information, not legal, tax or valuation advice. Talk to your own lawyer and accountant before you sell.
Our promise to sellers
How we'll treat you and your clients
- We sign an NDA before you share client names or numbers.
- Your clients hear about it from you and us together, after signing. Never before.
- Every term, including how and when you're paid, is written out in plain English before you sign.
- Your clients' fees don't go up for at least 12 months after the handover.
- If you're selling only your anesthesia accounts, we won't approach your other clients. We'll put that in writing.
- If we're not the right buyer, we'll tell you quickly and point you somewhere better if we can.
