For billing owners

Questions billing owners ask before they sell

Straight answers on money, timing, staff, clients and what happens after you sign.

Do I have to sell the whole company?

No. We buy whole anesthesia billing companies, and we also buy just the anesthesia accounts from multi-specialty companies.

How and when do I get paid?

Usually part in cash at closing, with the rest paid over 12 to 24 months based on how many clients stay. Every term is written out before you sign.

How long does it take?

Small account sales often take six to ten weeks. A whole company usually takes longer.

Will my clients find out before I'm ready?

No. We sign an NDA first, and clients are told together, after signing.

What happens to my staff?

If you're selling the whole company, we talk about your team early. Where we have work for them, we'd rather keep people who know the clients.

Do you need my software?

No. We move claim history and payer setups into our systems. Your software stays with you, or ends with the sale.

What if a client leaves after the sale?

That's why part of the price is tied to retention. We work hard to keep every client, because it costs us too.

Can I keep working?

Yes, if you'd like to. Some owners stay for a few months to help. Others stay on as part of the team.

How much is my business worth?

It depends on revenue, client tenure, contracts and how the deal is paid. Start with our valuation guide or ask for a confidential valuation.

Our promise to sellers

How we'll treat you and your clients

  • We sign an NDA before you share client names or numbers.
  • Your clients hear about it from you and us together, after signing. Never before.
  • Every term, including how and when you're paid, is written out in plain English before you sign.
  • Your clients' fees don't go up for at least 12 months after the handover.
  • If you're selling only your anesthesia accounts, we won't approach your other clients. We'll put that in writing.
  • If we're not the right buyer, we'll tell you quickly and point you somewhere better if we can.
