How CRNA groups find new facilities

Anesthesia work comes through relationships. Here's where new contracts usually come from.

Where work comes from

  • Surgeons. A surgeon who likes working with you can bring you into a new center or office.
  • New facilities. Watch for new surgery centers and offices opening in your area.
  • Unhappy facilities. Late starts, staffing gaps or a large stipend all mean a facility may be open to change.
  • Office-based specialties. Plastic surgery, dental, pain and fertility offices often need anesthesia.
